Brief Bio

Paul Lachine is a Canadian artist, cartoonist and illustrator. Lachine began his career in the late 1980s as a freelance political cartoonist for the London Free Press. In the late 1990s Lachine joined the Philadelphia-based editorial news art company Newsart.com, from which he developed a global clientele. Lachine’s work has appeared regularly in many of the world’s leading publications, including Popular Science Magazine, Variety, Entertainment Weekly, The Globe and Mail, The Chicago Tribune, The Toronto Star, and many titles across Europe and Asia. Paul has won a Society of News Design Award for Illustration, an MDDC Press Association award for Best Illustration of the Year,  was named Best Political Cover of the Year by the American Society of Magazine Editors and has won multiple OCNA awards for his political cartoons.

Recently Paul has started producing woodcut prints. His prints are available for purchase in his shop on ETSY.
